Tadej, the loudest Prlek among singers-songwriters and the most Prlek-true author among all the Prlek people, and Uroš, amazing curator at the Maribor Museum of National Liberation, will bring together their respective masteries in the courtyard: one on the guitar and the other on the cimbalom. Tadej’s mixture of folk and blues with a strong air of rock and occasional reggae diversions will blend with Uroš’s renditions on the medieval instrument with strings and two mallets that was common all across Slovenia in the 18th and 19th century. The cimbalom is the predecessor of the clavichord and one of the developmental stages of the piano, and is known as the folk instrument of Alpine countries.
