The musical creation of the band Ana Pupedan could be described as a mixture of different musical styles that find their common denominator in the world of rock music. A major building block of Ana Pupedan’s music are the lyrics, which are defined by a lucid view of the world, life, and social developments. Their lyrics are mostly in Slovene, often seasoned with the authentic dialect of Pivka, which only affirms how loyal and ingrained the musicians are into their local environment where they create their music oeuvre. Last November, the Pupedan boys celebrated the 30th anniversary of playing in the same lineup, which is rather an exception than the rule on the Slovene music scene.
