JE VEUX is a project by Zagreb-based composer and vocalist Željka Veverec, who earned her stripes in the excellent soul-funk band Mangroove. Together, they have released four amazing albums to date.

Under her artistic name Je Veux Željka released her debut album I glow at the end of 2020, which Croatian music critics and the press dubbed the album of the year. The album earned her four Rock & Off music awards that are voted on by independent music journalists: album of the year, song of the year, pop artist of the year, and new artist of the year. The album also won the Porin award for best electro music album and was nominated for album of the year. On top of it, Željka also earned a nomination for best female vocal performance.

Željka is also a theatre actress and singer and is particularly fond of musicals. She appeared in Hair, Aida, The Beauty and the Beast, and other plays. Just recently, the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor hosted the play Rdeča kapuca (Red Hood) for which Željka and her life partner, Toni Starešinić, wrote the music and lyrics.
