Members of the Traverso Flute Quartet have been active since their student years when their professor, Aleš Kacjan, instilled in them the love of chamber music.

Nowadays the ladies are professors themselves, teaching flute at music high schools, and are one of the few professional flute quartets in Slovenia.

Their musical path has taken them onto many local and international stages, which enriched their repertoire and their sound.

Aside from staple pieces, the quartet also play contemporary music using modern music techniques, often looking beyond the borders of classical music (ethno, Latin, jazz).

The quarter work with numerous composers who write new pieces especially for them. The ladies have lately begun to write their own covers as well.
