StandUpLent, a festival within Festival Lent, is a unique international stand-up comedy stage. Its dynamic contents put it on the European map as an amazing development initiative and a walk-through of stand-up comedy action – even on a global scale. Across nine evenings, the audience will have the chance to take in a broad range of comedy that showcases its diversity through thematic evenings – from dark humour evening, comedy from the entire Balkans, English language comedy programme, all the way to talk shows within the comedy genre. Festival Lent also makes sure to promote and develop the stand-up comedy scene, as it provides an opportunity every year for young up-and-coming comedians and new faces on the stand-up comedy scene to present themselves and hone their craft on stage.

StandUpLent comedy shows are in Slovenian. The show Two Englishwomen (GBR) will be in English.

*Events will be held rain or shine. We wish for all our visitors to have a pleasant experience at the show and a good view of the stage, which is why no open umbrellas will be allowed at the venue. We advise wearing weather-appropriate attire and footwear.
